Q. What is your company?
A. Forex Cargo is a licensed and bonded ocean transport intermediary, Non-Vessel Common Carrier (OTI-NVOCC) that specializes in the transport of household goods and personal effects to the Philippines, via ocean cargo.  The cargo business was established in the USA in 1987 and now serves the shipping needs of the Global Filipino in four (4) continents.

There is an additional $5-$10 handling fee for repacking, consolidating smaller items into a bigger box. Furthermore, additional charges will apply if packages need to be picked up from a house or a supplier. Charges will depend on factors like the size of the box, area where the box will be picked up, readiness of the box, or if the items need to be repacked and consolidated.

For odd-sized or oversized boxes, please e-mail or call us with the length, width and height information so we can provide you a quote.

We can repack and consolidate small items and packages for you to fit into one of our bigger boxes to save you on shipping costs.

Again, these rates apply to Metro Manila deliveries only.  Deliveries to provinces are available for an extra charge, depending on its destination.

Q. Can you store items in you warehouse?
A. We have a storage policy for storing your items. We can collect and store your orders/packages for you for up to thirty (30) days . If you don't request to ship by then, we charge a storage fee of $10 per month until your box is shipped.

Q. Is there a weight limit?
A. By default we ship via ocean, technically there is no weight limit. However, we recommend that the boxes can at least be carried or handled by two (2) people, for the safety of your boxes.

Q. Will I be taxed for my shipment?
A. Generally the ocean freight and airfreight charges we quote are inclusive of taxes and Customs documentation. However it may be subject to change as certain item(s) require tariff charge(s) and/or custom duties.

You may call or e-mail us ( forexcal@forexdkm.com , forexdc@forexdkm.com or at customercare@forexworld.com ) to inquire about these items (e.g. appliances, electronics, other high-end items, and other item(s) in general) or for general inquiry on rates.

Q. How long does shipping take? How often do you load?
A. From the time the boxes are loaded in the container and leaves the port in US.

Approximately 4-6 Weeks for Metro Manila deliveries
Approximately 6-8 Weeks for Provincial deliveries

We load 5-8 containers a week for our LA warehouse, more when needed.

As per our VA warehouse, kindly verify with our Forex Online Shopping Customer Care (FOSCC) Representative for shipment schedule(s).

*** Do take note that certain delay(s), of about a week or two (2), may be added to the above mentioned period due to US and Philippine Customs random inspection of shipment.

Q. How do we pay?
A.

For online shopping services, your Forexworld account has to be pre-funded. Pre-funding your account may be done in the following options:

  • Make a deposit to our BDO or BPI account at any branch.

    Deposit the Peso equivalent found in your invoice into our Peso Account with BDO

Q. Can I place multiple items in one order?
A.

Yes, you can order multiple items in one order for as long as it is from the same online store or supplier.

For orders from a different supplier, another order should be created.

A. Yes, you can order items from ebay. If there is no " buy now " price, we can place a maximum bid for you only once.

A. Forex Online Shopping reserves the right to refuse confirmed orders that will fall under the following categories or items:

  • Checks
  • Money orders
  • Travellers’ checks
  • Precious Metals
  • Precious Stones (e.g. Diamonds, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald)
  • Jewelry
  • Watches
  • Firearms
  • Ammunition
  • Gun parts and accessories (e.g. Reloaders)

  • Drugs and other prohibited substances
  • Lewd, obscene and pornographic materials

Q. How do I go about doing this?
A. There are two types of orders to be placed:
  1. ONLINE SHOP orders - Ordering through shop.forexworld.us

  2. Drop Ship orders - your orders are delivered to our Forex US Warehouse

Ordering through Forex Online Shopping
Browse through online stores and let Forexworld do the ordering for you.

  1. Login to your account.
  2. Tell us what you want.
    • Browse through online stores e.g. Ebay, Amazon, BestBuy, Yahoo, Barnes & Noble.com and other online stores
    • In your Forexworld account and click "Create New Order" and fill in the necessary information and save the order transaction.
  3. Wait for Confirmation or Approval
    • You will then receive an email notification that informs you of the order transaction that has been made.
  4. Pre-pay in BDO
    • Add funds to your  Forex Online Shopping  account using any of the following methods:
      1. Make a deposit to Forexworld's Banco de Oro (BDO) account at any BDO branch.
      2. Make a deposit to Forexworld's Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) account at any BPI branch.
  5. Wait for your Order
  6. Request for Shipment
    • When item(s) are received in our warehouse, you may request for your item(s) to be shipped by sending an email to customercare@forexworld.com.
A Service Fee of eight percent (8%) will be charged for Online Shopping order transactions exceeding twenty (20) different items per order.

Note: Items of different size, style, color, scent and the like are considered a different item and counted as a separate item.



Shop online and Deliver to Forex US Warehouse
Shop online and have them delivered to our Forex US warehouse. We will then ship it to your Philippine address.

  1. Shop from online stores (e.g. Ebay, Amazon, BestBuy) and have item(s) delivered to our Forex US Warehouses

    • Click "Create New Order" and specify the type of order to "Drop Ship".
    • Fill in the necessary information requested

    *Note: This would notify us in advance regarding packages that we should expect in our warehouse.

  4. Wait for Confirmation or Approval
    • You will then receive an email notification that informs you of the order transaction that has been made.
  5. Pre-pay in BDO
    • Add funds to your  Forex Online Shopping  account using any of the following methods:
      1. Make a deposit to Forexworld's Banco de Oro (BDO) account at any BDO branch.

Q. Will my ordered items be delivered in its original packaging?
A.

Orders will be shipped in its original packaging from your suppliers. Forex reserves the right to open and inspect all orders delivered to our warehouses to make sure that no package contains any prohibited goods. This applies to both online shop and drop ship packages.

Q. Where can I have my box delivered?
A. We can ship to almost anywhere in the Philippines.  We prefer to deliver to a residential address instead of a business address as deliveries often begin before and end after most office hours.

Q. Can I purchase extra Insurance to cover total value of shipment?
A. No. Our boxes are insured for $100 to $500 depending on the size of the box used for shipping.

Q. Can I purchase electronics and big ticket items?
A. Yes, we ship electronics and big ticket items. To get a quote, please inform us through email (customercare@forexworld.com) the following information in order for us to be able to provide you with a more accurate shipping rate:

1. Box and product (item) dimension

3. Item quantity
4. Amount of the item
5. Location of delivery (e.g. Metro Manila, Provincial area)

Q. Are there Refunds or Warranties for the items ordered?
A. Forex Online Shopping and Forex Cargo in general does not offer any refunds or warranties of its own. Furthermore buyers are responsible for the shipping cost back to the US if they want to avail of the supplier's warranty. Items you buy abroad may be subject to warranty but Forex Online Shopping is not responsible for items not being functional when delivered.

Q. How can I get a refund on my unused funds?
A. You may cash out unused funds anytime by:

1. Calling our FOSCC Representatives
2. Email our FOSCC Representatives a request for refund.

  • Once request is approved, a check will be made to your registered Name, which can be mailed to your registered address or which you can pick-up at our offices on a specified pick-up date/time.
  • In addition, our customer service representative(s) may suggest depositing these funds to your account to avoid the hassle of waiting for the check to be mailed or to avoid the hassle of travelling.
